Dog and Cat Boarding

Boarding doesn't have to be a stressful experience for your dog or cat ... here at Animal Boutique we work hard to make your pet feel like it's on vacation, too! At Animal Boutique, your pet is boarded in a clean, modern kennel and cared for by a dedicated staff of people who love animals. We strive to provide a relaxed atmosphere where dogs, even though we may spoil them a bit, get to enjoy being dogs! Our Kennel techs are now Fear Free Certified.  They have been equipped with the knowledge and tools to care for any pets who stays with us, whether they are care-free or have high anxiety.

Our dog kennels are fully air conditioned and heated to a comfortable level for your pet and every guest at Animal Boutique is given individual attention and exercised while in our care. Our boarders are allowed to go outside to play/exercise in their own area, or with a friend(when allowed). We have indoor runs, kennels, and nooks available to suit any need. We provide a home atmosphere with the safety of your pet as our top priority. Security is provided 24 hours a day.

Our feline guests get special treatment in our Lady Bug Cottage. Our trained employees have pets of their own and know how to provide loving personal care for your pets. Our kitty friends have condos to sleep and eat in, as well as a screened in porch to sun bathe and play.

Boarding Hours:

For all pets:

Drop off is between 7:30am and 5pm*  Monday-Saturday

Pick up is between 7:30am and 6pm  Monday-Saturday.  Sunday pick up from 4pm-6pm.

*Boarders must be in by 5pm so that we can get them set up and settled for the night before we close.

We do encourage boarding reservations especially for major holidays.  We do have limited space available for our large dogs, so give us a call as soon as you know you will need us!

Are you curious as to where your pet will be staying?  You are more than welcome to stop by for a tour of our facility Monday-Saturday 9am-4pm.

Boarding Prices, Rules and Other Information

• Dogs: $35 the first day you walk-in, $30 every day after that. Per pet.
• Cats: $35 the first day you walk-in, $30 every day after that. Per pet.
• Pets picked up before noon are not charged for that day.
• We have Sunday pickup between 4 and 6 p.m. You ARE charged for a full day on Sunday.
• We require a copy of current records that show that your pet has received vaccinations.
• Dog requirements: Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella(Kennel Cough).
• Cat requirements:  Rabies, FVRCP
• It is the owners responsibility to keep their pets up to date on their records.
• You can email all updated records to animalboutique125@gmail.com
• We are able to provide food, bedding and toys, however we do encourage that owners bring their own food for their fur babies. This helps to prevent upset tummies while they are here.  You are also more than welcome to bring a t-shirt or a small blanket that smells like home or their favorite person.
• Please make sure food is in Tupperware containers or in Ziploc bags. We cannot accept bags of dog food! We need more space for our doggie friends.
• While your pet is here to board, you have the option of having them groomed before they are picked up.  See our grooming services for more information.

**Notice**  If your pet comes in with fleas or ticks, they will be treated at the owners' expense.

Medications

Animal Boutique will administer any medications at no additional charge.  This includes any oral, topical, or injections.  We do ask that all medications are labeled to include pet's name, type of medication, dosage or medication, and the schedule of when medication should be administered.

Kennel Cough Alert!

Kennel cough is a respiratory infection caused by a number of bacteria and viruses. It is usually not dangerous and normally clears up with treatment within a few weeks.

Dogs commonly contract kennel cough at places where large amounts of canines congregate, such as dog parks, veterinary offices, training groups, boarding and day care facilities, and dog shows. Dogs can spread it to one another through airborne droplets.

If you hear your pup cough or sneeze, please do not bring them to board and call your vet. If we notice signs, we will call you to come and pick them up.

We do everything in our power to prevent anyone from getting kennel cough.  We stay on top of our disinfecting cleaning, but sometimes it is out of our control.  The wellbeing of every animal under out watch is our top priority. We have their best interest at heart.

We are not financially liable if your pup contracts Kennel Cough.

Medical and Emergency

If your pet is on any kind of medication we will be glad to administer it at no extra charge. If your pet requires medical attention while staying with us, we use Dr. Wilkes and Dr. Robillard at Martinez Animal Hospital on Washington Road, two minutes from our shop.

General

Animal Boutique reserves the right to refuse service or admittance to anyone or any pet guest for any reason and at any time.  This includes any pet that comes in without proper vaccinations, aggressive behavior, or any pet in bad health overall. Our prices, services, hours, and policies are non-negotiable.  They are subject to change without notice.
